When the festival takes place
Events run across a June bank holiday weekend, with the full timetable published on the programme page in the weeks before the festival. Individual tickets and weekend passes are released once the line-up is confirmed. Sign up to our mailing list to hear about programme launches and on-sale dates as soon as they are announced.
Getting to Stoke Newington
Most festival venues sit within walking distance of Stoke Newington Overground station on the Mildmay line. Regular buses also serve Stoke Newington High Street, Church Street and the roads around Newington Green. Allow a few minutes between events if you are moving between venues, as sessions often run back to back across the neighbourhood.
Tickets and entry
Tickets are sold per event unless a weekend pass is offered for that year. Check the programme for prices, start times and booking links. Popular talks can sell out, so booking ahead is worthwhile. Please arrive in good time: late-comers may not be admitted once an event has started. Full ticket terms are listed on the about page.

The festival uses a mix of local spaces, from working men's clubs to meeting houses and church halls. Each venue has its own character and layout.
