Stoke Newington-raised Paloma has had an extraordinary career. Critically acclaimed and award-winning musician, star of TV and film and now author, her roots in Hackney have had a profound influence on her life. She talks to poet, author (and Adele’s best mate from school) Laura Dockrill (What Have I Done and the forthcoming I Love You, I Love You, I Love You) about how Hackney helped make her who she is, about her astonishing journey from emulating Billie Holliday in her bedroom to her headline billing at Camp Bestival this year. They also talk about Paloma’s new book MILF – motherhood, identity, love and fuckery.
