If you’re coming to Stoke Newington Literary Festival this weekend (and let’s face it, why wouldn’t you be), a visit to our fabulous Budvar Tent has got to be on the cards.
Flame-headed Hattie is Tent Impresario and has pulled together such a brilliant programme that we just hope you can drag yourselves away to some other stuff!
The best thing? Tent-events are TOTALLY FREE – although we can’t say the same for the refreshments! Whether the heavens open, the sun sparkles or we just get some typically non-committal, grey London days, Budvar will be OPEN FOR BUSINESS from Friday evening and more than happy to serve you with many things to thrill all five of your senses! On the following two days, the Tent will then play host to a full and fabulous line-up.
So here it is: the stupendous running order for what’s sure to be an in-tent-sive weekend! We can’t guarantee that timings won’t change, but you can check out the blackboards outside the Tent on the day for the most accurate info. Whatever your tastes, take shelter with Budvar and enjoy a pint and a breather while absorbing some free alternative entertainment. Who said a literary festival had to be just about books? See you there!
