Michele Kirsch

DSC_0007
Michele Kirsch is a freelance journalist and chef. She has lived and worked in Hackney most of her life. Her memoir CLEAN, which chronicles both her work as a cleaner in Hackney, and getting clean off of drugs, was Book of The Week in The Daily Mail, and Book of the Month is Psychologies.  She thinks of her book as “Mrs; Hinch, for recovering drug addicts and everybody else who likes a bit of a laugh and a bit of a cry.”
She is currently working on her first novel, set in Dog Day Afternoon era New York City, where she spent some of her time growing up.
