Claire Armitstead, Associate Culture Editor of The Guardian and editor of Tales of Two Londons: Stories from a Fractured City, hosts an entertaining and moving evening of storytelling and debate, featuring acclaimed novelist Ali Smith (How to be Both, Autumn, Winter & more), local refugee group Akwaaba, Arifa Akbar, Kinga Burger and Stephen Griffith. A first half of readings and performances is followed by a debate about what can be done to bring together fractured communities and whether the arts can really help.
We’ll also be launching a new writing prize, Untold Stories, in memory of our friend Mehmet Aksoy.
