Pete Brown interviews food writers Asma Khan and Nargisse Benkabbou about how our food memories shape who we are, but also how the dishes change as our lives change. Asma runs Darjeeling Express, acclaimed for its combination of ancient family recipes drawn from Asma’s Mughlai ancestry, and Calcutta street food.
